The courses are divided into three categories:
Elementary Level, Intermediate Level and Advanced Level.
The
Elementary course is tailored specifically for those students with no,
or little, prior knowledge of English.
The Intermediate course
consolidates and strengthens spoken/written skills and aims to provide
confidence in the students' use of the language.
The Advanced course,
by means of the revision of major items and the acquisition of new structures,
aims to introduce the students to the full splendour of the English
language.
On arrival, students are given an entry test so that they can be
placed in the right category; in this way the success of each student can be
guaranteed.
Courses commence the first day of each month. Courses finish on
the twenty-eighth day of the month.
Students are taught in small groups in
order to create the most suitable environment for language-learning.
The
Whitehill Estate School of English feels that the learning of English should be
both a serious and an enjoyable task. A summary of the courses is provided in
SYLLABUS; the points briefly outlined are explored in great detail in
the lessons and are presented in an attractive and interesting manner.
